Tix.Tooq Features
Tix.Tooq is a robustly featured platform built with Canadian bands, venues, agencies, and festivals in mind. Helpful features don't have to be buried behind high prices. This page gives you a more detailed look into the functionality of the platform.
Fans pay the ticket price plus tax. Service and platform fees are included in the price, never added on top. Dashboard tools help you calculate your payment per ticket when building your show and show you exactly what and where the fees are.
No application to install or sign-in to. Simply email or text a link to your door staff and they can scan people in using their phone. Great for volunteers or casual staff. Compatible with bar code scanners. Venues with permanent staff can assign roles and staff can work all shows at the venue.
Multiple venue festivals can see real-time counts for each venue, see when one venue is emptying out alerting them to a potential rush at their door. Festival and Venue managers know how many people are on site and can keep the Fire Marshall happy.
Sell walk-ups from the scanner. Each scanner instance stores the running payment total for cashout at the end of the night.
Configurable guest lists with plus-ones per show, caps per band/venue/agent, additions close at doors, and every late addition is flagged.
Tickets for sold out shows can be resold on the platform for the same price. Anyone on the waitlist gets emailed in order automatically with a decreasing response time the closer to show time (24 hours weeks out down to 1 hour on the day of the show), maximizing attendance on tickets that would have otherwise gone stale.
For those that sell tickets through non-online channels like venues, record stores, etc., the platform allows tickets with unique codes to be printed and dispatched. Unsold tickets are returned and cash owed to the ticket seller is turned in and the unsold tickets return to the online inventory.
Tickets can be printed on any regular printer, 4 or 6 to a sheet and scan at the door just like an emailed or online ticket. Returned or cancelled tickets will not scan and so copied tickets can be rejected.
Daily sales and a pace line against your past shows, so you know early if a night needs a push.
Names, roles and colours for crew, volunteers and band personnel, picked up at a separate desk from festival wristbands. Print lanyard badges to fit in standard Avery lanyards.
Sell several shows as one bundle. Each show still gets its own share and its own statement. Perfect for Series Producers, folk clubs, or marketing a package of shows across dates.
Manage presale codes with ease. Add codes and their effective dates for presales and send the code to your mailing list. Access is granted with code entry allowing you to reward your most loyal fans.
When the show is over and it's time to pay the band, print a statement that shows sales, taxes, and fees clearly.
